Why Flappy Bird flaps no more

Doesn't make sense to me. Games are supposed to be addictive in the sense that you want to keep playing. I feel like we're still missing a piece of the story. Who in their right mind would take down a game earning them bucket loads of money daily.
 
Okay cool i can respect his choice, it makes me want to hit my head against something but still. One question though He pulls this and then starts working on 2 other games..... what if those become popular as well.

He has no foresight, he could have done a crap ton with the money from flappy birds, start a game dev studio, give it to the poor whatever.
 
What kills me is the fact that iPhones with the game installed are now being auctioned off to the highest bidder, imagine $100K for an iPhone :eek:

Let's first see if it actually sells. Most likely troll bidders. I honestly don't see anyone paying that kind of money for a game you can (I assume) very easily find online.

I agree with you completely, but just for the record: he developed the other two games before Flappy Bird. I read an article about Flappy Bird in which they mentioned it. Too lazy to go search for a link, though.

There are gonna be absolutely millions of phones out there with the game, so its not rare by any means. No way will anyone make that kind of cash on it.

I read this morning that eBay actually pulled all the iPhone listings that touted flappy bird as a feature. They claimed that selling an item like a phone requires a system reset so as to sell the device in as close to its original state as possible.
