You've also got a better chance of staying in the competition if you're high up and others post more than you, you have more of a chance to recover :p If you're 24/25th and some other people start posting below you, you'll be out of the competition very quickly.

Welcome... my suggestion, dont race to hard to the top 25 (you will most probably catch the attention of Mr Banhammer)...try to pace yourself with 'meaningful' posts so that you're in the top25 by the end of the month.

Stick around afterwards too..these comps happen more often than you would think.

Like blaaislaai said, the competition currently running has been very good for the forum. There are some great new members, and many of them are not afraid to venture into TK for a chat. The threads has been mostly good, with the odd issue here or there. But nothing even close to the chaos that was the last competition.

Got to admit the TK thread is still quite a mystery to me :p

If someone joins the forum today i think they would get banned for spamming if they were to try catch up...

I used to "post a lot" (spam) -- won a PS3 -- then my PC broke. My sinful ways caught up to me :p
