I resolved that this year I start clearing out my stupidly large steam backlog and I kicked that off with Saints Row 3(before I tackle the 4th one). Pretty decent game, too many filler missions, but overall decent. Pretty solid writing and humour. Other than that I'm busy with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum, Europa Universalis IV, Blood Bowl and a few other favourites.

DS wise still playing Pokemon X, big fan of the series,

Haha, yeah I think I should try to stick to one game per platform at least, but like I mentioned, I get bored of any particular game after about an hour. I'm pretty sure that will change when I get Castelvania LoS 2 at the end of the month though.

That's the easy part. Also, most of those games I have already finished before so I am not really paying that much attention to the storyline and some don't really have much of a story.

2nd playthrough on Both, but on hold for the moment.

Would have liked to join you in DS, but GFWL has pissed me off too much (keeps failing to log in to my account) so I decided to start the game over with an offline account.

Yeah, when I started with my Dark Souls Journey, a fellow gamer suggested a game guide. Its like an official game guide for DS which outlays the entirety of the game. Enemies. Weapons. etc. I'd probably still be stuck if it wasn't for the guide.

And the worrying thing is are the developers going to patch it out? I don't think From Software has made any announcement about this.

As far as I know Namco Bandai have said they have no plans to remove GFWL from Dark Souls.

EDIT: Correction, they said the are "exploring options" to remove it.

Love Loadout and Hawken just pissed with steam this morning.
My hawken download was on 2.7GB, I restarted my pc and then it started over form 0...So annoyed with that at the moment.
