Good luck babes - I will hold thumbs for you.

Goooooooo for one, Swedish if you want a deep tissue one (be warned if done right you will have pain and bruises for a few day)

Shaitsu is very similar but I found it more relaxing and not as painful. But it does wonders for your body.

Guys please go read:

You honestly believe the fuckwits in charge will be able to control all of that?

Doubtful I know, but the implications and ramifications are huge, so the guys on the other forums are asking us to spread it around so that at least there will be a huge group of people showing up at the meeting to object to it. We know the chances of winning anything is bloody small, but at least if the petition is successful as well as the showing up at the meeting on friday and speaking up, will slow it down and maybe we get lucky.
But as one of the guys said on APSA, it will happen. This is more a try to change some of the regulations such as the silly one that you will need a permit as a pet owner to transport your pet from the shop to your home . . .

What if your pet is sick, do you need a permit to take it to the vet?

So, Absa just called me.

Said because I'm a valued client, they are assigning/scheduling a meeting with a financial planner for me free of charge. Not sure if I should be worried or excited.

Yep you will need permits for it to be transported at all, so no matter what where you will have to have a piece of paper stating that you can transport it.

This doesn't sound like it has shit to do with environmental sustainability or the animals themselves. Just a clever way of making you dock up more cash.
That said, that legislation has been in place for years already - all this will achieve is increasing illegal trade.

I'm sure the financial planner will advise you to open up some policies - and look at that! How about the great policies offered by Absa?!

Wow that's pathetic, so you need to pay-in and then await 3 weeks for some government worker to do their job before you can help your pet. Me thinks this is all just some crazy idiot looking to screw SA over again for more cash, I'm signing.

Problem is, in my current financial situation, I can't even afford medical aid, let alone a policy.

Agreed, some of the legislation I have no issues with, but some of what they want to bring into effect with this bill is beyond silly.

Whatever benefits he tries to lay on you - its bullshit.

All bullshit.

I understand the implications of an alien species wreaking havoc on ecosystems etc... but this just sounds like it has no bearing at all. They've failed to keep illegal trade down - its even worse now - so they want to slap a bill on law abiding animal traders/keepers. Yeah makes sense in SA.

Yeah, thats basically it. Standard bank did the same to me.
Like, "Don't you want to take up these great policies with us?"
No thanks. I say.
"But don't you want to put your money to good use?"
"I'll use it to buy something don't worry."
