The upcoming DLC has encouraged me to get back into DIABLO 3. Playing it on the XBOX and loving it. My primary character is a level 45 Wizard. yeah, i know, absurdly low level compared to the die-hards, but I'm "Married with children" so you can caaaaaall meee Alll. sorry, i digress with the sitcom and Chevy Chase references :p

Back on topic. wizard is brilliant in terms of both AoE attacks, as well as solid defensive spells. I have dabbled with the Barbarian and not really been won over. i think i'm gonna go back to my secondary MONK character, as I quite enjoyed his speed of attack. more exciting than the Barb (IMHO).

Curious as to which character you guys prefer and why ?
 
Well i basically only played ranged in WoW Warlock, Shadow Priest, Mage (have a 12 rogue and a 90 DK) so i picked Witchdoctor from the start (my only character :p) so come expansion i'' build me a demon hunter or a wizzard
 
I would have liked to participate in this poll, but I have only played the Barbarian so far, so I can't comment on the other classes and how they were for me.

But so far, the Barbarian is like a steam train. Just ploughing through creeps.
 
Having played all the char and getting them all to lvl 60 I would have to say barb.

I only played the monk and a little bit of the wizard. So my favourite is the monk though I look forward to the crusader which is more my kind of character.
 
Been a while since I played, so can't even remember the mechanics so lekker. But I always hit wizard first regardless of game. Had fun with her, but she got boring after a while. Witchdoctor sucked :(

It's not all about you, you know. :p

Generally if a game is on PC and console you put it under general gaming, unless you want to specifically talk about the console version of the game.

Ahh, okay sorry, my bad. That's a good point :) how can I move thread?
 
I put a hell of a lot of hours into this game when it launched, for very little reward... I started with the WD because im usually a fan of having minions around to help attack the creeps, and the WD was the only one that seemed like he did that... Got him to lvl 60, and into the Paragon lvls, but what a waste... My Monk, also into paragons, would own my WD in seconds in a PVP... IT would be embarrassing... And time wise, my WD took nearly twice as long to get to where my monk is...

Demon Hunter is great, If you playing MP with someone that can take a beating, because the second u get swamped with the DH you die.. No crowd control what so ever... But DEADLY when you get his rapid fire and just stand at the back and blast everything from a distance...

Only class i haven't really played is Wizard... My Wiz is only about lvl 20...

wow! it must have taken AGES to level 2 characters up to 60 :wtf: it took me forever to get Wizard to 45. oh, BTW, Wizard is the best class around :-) it has absurd ranged and AoE skills, plus superb survival powers like Frost Nova and Diamond Skin.
 
Started playing this for the first time this weekend and started on the Monk. Enjoying it at the time, but also thinking I'll give Demon Hunter a run too.

Bro you have no idea how much time i spent waiting for the game to get awesome... I did not get EVEN 1 Legendary lvl 60 item drop... Not even 1... They made the drops so rare to make a fortune off the auction house, it was disgusting...

Luckily that Auction House will be dead soon:D
