Nah, I get much use out of it still, just freaks me out how many people love clicking and sharing kak

I make a point of unfollowing dumb people. Which doesn't unfriend them, but just doesn't show me any of their rubbish. With that feature and the addition of sources that you really use, FB is an extrememly useful tool.

I like FB but the thing that gets me is there is always that one friend that will invite you to every single fscking fb game

Get medical aid.

I can't even afford that right now. Does medical aid even cover such amount? Or is there an amount you will have to pay in?

One of my buddies give me a whole breakdown of the medical he's on, and found that things that should have been covered for his wife he suddenly has to pay in for.

Want to hear what a private hospital quotes for a hip surgery without medical aid?

R101 000.

Yip... My girlfriends Dad needed a hip replacement and doesnt have medical aid... He Had a whole hip replacement, and an L5-L3 fusion of the spine done at baragwanath hospital in Soweto for R50.00... Which was his admission fee...

My girlfriend got very clever getting him registered as a pensioner, and that pretty much took care of all the costs... But it wasnt a pretty stay...

There's usually a co-payment, sort of like insurance excess. And then of course they cover up to "medical aid rates", which is often only like a third of what a most specialists actually charge. So it's important to get a gap cover as well. The one I'm on is only like R100 or R150 per month for the whole family, but it covers us for an extra 300% medical aid rates over and above what the medical aid covers.
