Its more a documentary than a movie, but to all F1 fans - watch 1, Life on the Limit. It reminded me a lot of the book by the same name Life on the Limit by Prof Sid Watkins. It looks back at the history of F1, the greats, how so many died by living on the limit as they did, and how the changes that was brought in after the death of Senna, changed the sport forever. Since his death in 1994, there as been accidents, but no deaths in the sport. Worst part of the documentary was watching the interview with Prof Watkins near the end, about Senna and his death.

We all forget that a lot of what they learn in F1 gets translated into safety for road cars.

It completely slipped my mind to tell you to watch this! The film really captures both the glory of the early days of F1, as well as the dark cloud that permanently followed the sport.

The opening section with Brundle's accident was equally spine chilling and wonderful to see. Prof. Sid is a hero to the sport, and his smirk with the cigar hanging from his mouth will never be forgotten.

watched Riddick over the weekend with the girlfriend. first time shes seen a Riddick film and she say it was ' okay'... i didnt make her dinner after that

Watched Pompeii at the cinema today. Was pretty good, I love disaster movies. Feel very sad for all those that lost their lives in the real Pompeii though.

They Live. Weird film, but arguably the best fight scene ever in a film. With Rowdy Roddy Piper what else would you expect?
