Hearing that the bots are so dumb is a bummer maybe they are intentionally dumb so you can get a titan real quick.

Its really the only way. If people were getting owned by bots 90% of the time instead of other people it virtually wouldn't be a multiplayer game.
FFS man, my download is only at 32%. Openweb suck balls.

I've now watched a couple of impression videos, and I am a bit concerned about the limited feel of the game. It does seem that this may be due to the beta being really limited. I hope there are a lot more added to the game once it comes out. Can't wait to play it though.

Ya I think the bots are there so you feel like a badass, even if you're not that great. You get to rack up lots of kills and with there being fewer people on the server you get killed a lot less.

Sigh...the bots in TF are like the creeps in Dota 2. They're just there for you to "farm" from them in order to reduce your titan call down timer. That is all. But I fully agree, it doesn't help they make the bots godlike, then it would completely detract from the experience. Although, I personally feel that they could just up the AI by a tiny notch to make them a bit more reactive to their surroundings when they spot an enemy.

Even with the AI getting a upgrade I don't think the game has any staying value at all, I've played 5 matches, my KD/R is 13.5, it is crazy easy, the only time I struggle is when playing bigger maps, shooting at players over long distances because of that kak latancy.

Haha, fewer things annoy me more than lobby wars.
Managed to at least do the training this morning. Will hit a game at lunch or something.

Some more feedback.
After playing around 26 matches, I feel I am now better qualified to give some more feedback.
The game play is a lot like cod, just by playing it I can tell the guys from COD 4 were behind this game, everything from running to aiming and weapon mechanics are straight from COD which isn't a bad thing. I find playing the smaller maps is a lot better than jumping into a larger map with latency of over 200, I also noticed that the busier the server got the higher my latency was, at a stage last night I was playing with 280ms...and I am sorry but if a company expects me to spend R400 on a mp only game and they can't provide me with local servers it just shows that they don't give a shit about us. If your at all serious about fps games you won't buy this.
There is no denying in short bursts it can be fun, but over all it sux when you have a huge disadvantage over the other players, I was the only guy in game with a latency of over 200 while everyone else was in the low 30-40's.
So would I buy it, No I would rather spend my cash on something I can play where the playing field is level or perhaps something with a damn good single player campaign, Thief comes to mind.

Exactly how I feel. this game has so much potential, just needs local servers, maybe once they do decide on getting local servers in SA I'll buy it, but for now I'm going to pass and spend my money on something else.

This is what they need to do:
Get us local servers.
Up the human player count to a minimum of 16 per match (8v8)
Make the bots slightly better instead of just cannon fodder
Then I'll gladly buy it, heck even if they just give us local servers I would buy it.
