Gaming Mouse Suggestions

yeah I think that's going to be a bit out of my budget as well :(

I own both the SteelSeries Sensei MLG and the Logitech G500. The G500 is a lot bigger but feels a lot better to play with (I have quite small hands) and the tracking feels great.

The Sensei feels inferior in terms of quality but the software that comes with the mouse is incredible. Tracking is also fantastic and I feel, overall, it's made me a better player.

You are extremely lucky then dude. A google search of Razer mice problems yields over 3 million results :)

I think you can searsh a few brands and come up with that figure every brand has it's duds believe me i have had them. started with steelseries then went logitech then went roccat even tried some of the lesser known brands. logitech and razer are my preferred

geeez the G500 looks like a G400s/MX518 on steroids

The nice thing about Logitech is they use one software package for all they're hardware. Like now my MX518 and G13 are both accessible through the one app where I can mod and customize them as I please

Plus, Logitech build quality is second to none.

The G500 through Evetech fits into your budget:

Extremely ergonomic mouse with weights included.
that's a good price!

I've seen a couple of reviews praising the Razer Deathadder as well

btw, what is the difference between the G500 and the G500s? is it just cosmetic?

yeah that I can vouch for! the only reason I have to replace my current mouse is because it seems I've been yanking on the cord a bit too much

The G500s is a newer, updated version of the G500.

Design, feel, mouse wheel update in terms of longevity and durability.

ok so I've shortlisted it to the Razer Deathadder, Logitech G400s and the Logitech G500s (can't find that metal SS Sensei)

I haven't tried the other 2 you have listed, but I love my Razer Deathadder :D

Avoid the Deathadder, avoid anything Razer bud. G400's is good and G500s is fantastic, can't go wrong with either of them.

Damn my luck.

It seems like my RAT 5 is at its last moments.

I think I've overused the left clicker, I barely have to touch it now and it clicks.

Me thinks its time to upgrade soon "whistling:

Thanks man, I think then my gut was right from the beginning to stick with trusty old almost immortal Logitech :D

perhaps you should look at getting a G500s

I might be late to the party, but I got myself a Cooler Master Storm Recon in Dec. I had a shoestring budget, and the mouse has blown my mind with value for money so far. Great feel (seriously, find someone that owns one and feel the grip. It's smooth and rubbery!), software, speed and price. Lovit.
