Alleged Serial killer likes Dark Souls

Games don't kill people, mentally disturbed psychopaths kill people.

The game is frustrating and hard yes, but very rewarding in a good way.

This serial killer could just as well have said she likes Flappy Bird, and yes I'm saying flappy bird is a hell of a lot harder than Dark Souls.

I can't believe anyone takes this kind of sensationalist bullshit seriously...

I bet he also likes butter. No one ever blames butter.

My money's on air. It's got to be something these nutjobs are inhaling: either to commit these atrocities or to believe that games are the cause. The only common factor is the American air.

It is actually a woman I mean it has to be the games that made her do this.Dark souls is more about you dying than actually killing other things.

Ja I see I missed the 's' in 'she'.

But then there's also Brevik, who isn't American. Crazy people are just crazy, regardless of what they play.

In-breeding "Heel-Beelies", I tells ya!

The next Bender Family ?

Where moronic mass media claim that GAMES are the reason ppl commit murder, I wish I could smack their collective noggins and point out that Man has been merrily butchering his fellow man since... well....since Man has walked the Earth!

I would argue that people who are socially defunct will engage in activities that are by and large antisocial. Single player games allow you to lock yourself in your room for days at a time without having to interact with anyone, and even online multiplayer games allow you to "hide in plain sight."
I would say sociopaths are drawn to games because of that inner darkness, rather than saying the games are creating that inner darkness.

I don't know why anyone takes Fox News seriously. They're a joke, so much so that SNL has a regular skit where they mock them openly. A couple of years ago it was "rock music", then it was "TV" and now it's "Video Games". Basically people will always try and find an excuse for their poor decisions. Just as long as, Heaven forbid, they're not accountable for it themselves.

Plus, if the media can sink their teeth into controversy, that's a boon. What if it turns out that people start killing other people because of all these negative, blood-thirsty articles that's all over the place? Will the media go as far as to blame themselves?
