Yeah, I'm seeing quite a few reviews that don't look too good. Will wait for the price to drop drastically before I'll even consider getting it.

Yeah, most reviews seem to indicate it's mediocre with a few here and there saying something good about it.

Definitely only on 75% off.

It has gone from a "I must have it" to a "maybe I'll look at it later" pretty quickly for me.

Lol, I guess I can understand the serious fans getting worried by this review but I would NEVER use a kotaku review to decide if I want to buy something or not. I'll still play the game myself at some point and form my own opinion.

I much prefer RPS for my serious reviews, Kotaku for more fun and general gaming news, but not where I decide whether or not to purchase a game. And also watching people play a game on Youtube for instance helps, provided it's out

Kotaku isn't the only one who gave it a meh review. There seems to be a general air of negativity from most reviewers, with a few exceptions such as RPS.

Either way, whether you trust Kotaku or not (I generally don't), they review basically confirmed what I already saw from streams.

I LOVED the first Castlevania reboot. Really excited about this sequel. More than THIEF

If I'm honest it doesn't seem to live up to it's own legacy. BUt that being said it does like a good game in it's own right.

castlevania has been rebooted so many times i think konami themselves have forgotten how many times they did it

The only true way to get the game would be to break into a store and take a "test" copy for yourself
