The Pretoria High Court could not reach a conclusive judgment over a man's compensation for adultery claim that his wife had sex with the family doctor, The Star reported on Tuesday.

Judge KE Matojane ordered each party to pay their own legal costs.

"While I have understanding for the position of the plaintiff, sympathy cannot supplement lack of evidence," he said, according to the newspaper.

Wow, some people will use any excuse they can to make a quick buck. Seriously, 2.5 mil for an affair, was she made of gold.
 
I didn't even think one could sue another for an affair? What damages is he suing for? Heartache? is 2.5 Million the price of a broken heart?

I can't wrap my head around this. And he basically wasted his own money pursuing this.

Agreed, I could understand if she was a prostitute and he was suing for loss of income though
