Bloody epic looking phone but the price...Ouch lol

Surely if it still connects to the cell towers they can still get hold of your data and your location?

Its actually pretty impressive once you go into the finer details. The phone basically stops companies from getting any info from you. You'll notice when you dl a game of the play store it usually says the game needs access to your contacts and shit like this, where as this they can't do that.

So its biggest selling point is its security :| that surely can only apply to a very niche market

Privacy is the thing I care the least about, so won't bother with this.

A lovely price of $629 is a bit steep though

they should have called it StealthPhone or inviziphone :p

I think StealthPhone would have been awesome. That would have sealed the deal for me :P
Also the guys thinking privacy isn't a big deal, maybe not to us in SA but in the US where everything is monitored, things like this phone a must have or at least a want for most americans.

Looks pretty decent... Then again so do most other top end phones today...

Security really isnt that much of a concern for me...

So would you still be able to install apps from the Play Store etc?

Nope the phone has its own store.
They will only allow certain apps, and as far as I know most of the apps and games will be screened before being allowed onto the store.

Well I guess that's interesting. Remains to be seen if it takes off I guess. Like someone said earlier, seems to be a bit of a niche market.
