Dohcie, I told you, the headphone jack and speakers where giving issues, ironically the weird popping noises I heard wasnt the app just the speakers giving issues - apparently on the asus nexus 7 2012 model that was an issue.

mine is still going strong, my sd card got fried somehow but it has a lifetime warranty so esquire swopped it out hassle free
