yeah i think Chelsea might give them a 2-0 hiding i just hope the Devils are awake this time and come away with a win and not another draw

You can never overlook any german teams amazing ability to choke... but i wont lie this team is even better then last year i think so they really do have the tools to win everything again, has that ever been done before where a team gets a trebble 2 years running ?

I don't think a team has ever won a Treble back to back no. I know that the only player to ever be a part of back to back trebles is Eto'o [With Barca and Inter respectively ].

It was totally inept, no urgency, insipid, most of the players should be embarrassed to be wearing the shirt... everyone can blame Moyes etc. but there has to be some sort of accountability from the players themselves. mini-rant over.
 
Well i guess that's it for Man U this year i don't know what the fuck is wrong with that team i couldn't watch the full game last night i was so agitated

Guess i won't be having any of them in my fantasy teams anymore

I understand how the fans can blame Moyes, its the easiest thing to blame, but i agree with Krusty, the players have to take some of the blame.

They have a steep hill to climb in the 2nd leg.

Yeah the players genuinely seem lost these days. And even if you have a bad manager; skilled players fight through that and make a pla.

Yeah we really should have killed the game off in the 1st half, I cant believe how open Galatasary were playing, pushing the back 4 up so high, that is exactly the type of defense we like playing against.

Should have finished it off early.
 
The players certainly need to up their game, but the buck stops with the manager. Sir Alex was able to win the title with this very same bunch of misfits. Moyes just doesn't appear to have a clue how to motivate his players :(

But to be fair; the players themselves are of an old generation. Too little has changed in the squad; and I highly doubt that MANU couldve won with this current crop of players even with Alex.

Yeah that 2nd half it was clear that Galatasary wanted it more than we did; but at the very least we get an away goal out of it .
 
^^^ I agree Moyes was given a impossible job at Man U not only is his squad past the sell by date he does not have Van Persie scoring a goal a minute this season.

Its a tough act for any manager in the world to follow Alex Ferguson, almost impossible, with all the success he had with Man U, the fans then expect that to carry on.
 
To be honest, Fergie is the one to blame for United's current malaise. He didn't strengthen the squad properly for many years and he insisted on hiring Moyes and stunning Jose :(
