Dark Souls

made a lot of progress last night with Armi's help. Managed to kill the gargoyles :D

but then I got cocky and died. now I have to run all the way back to the bell tower to go get my souls back... alone... wish me luck :(

I got the first one's tail yes. and a snazzy new helm as reward too :D

That helmet is quite sexy yes :D

I lost about 50k souls twice over yesterday trying to get close to the Hydra. After the 2nd time, I said F this, went for it, and killed it -_-

Dont feel too bad if they get lost, it happens in this game. I myself have lost 40000-50000 souls at a time, there are people who have lost more as well

The moveset and reach of the Claymore never appealed to me. Initially I was using the Zweihander but switched to the Man Serpent Greatsword for the extra speed.

I like both these swords, Im inclined towards the zweihander as a matter of preference. I am still hunting for slabs to upgrade them to the max. I recently picked up the black knights halberd which is on my list of favourites as well. Its 2 handed though

I lost almost 200000 souls once in Demon's Souls. Cost me a controller. I learned then to make peace with losing souls in these games and also not to throw my controller. :p

Racked up about 250 000 souls once. Aaaaaand... it's gone :/ Still don't know why I kept it?

I'm a Strength/Endurance/Dexterity build. I think you need at least 50 strength and 30 odd Dex to wield it one hand. Couple the reach of that Halberd with a proper shield, almost unstoppable. I used it this way through most of my first playthrough.

I'm doing the same with my Warrior

Great Grey Wolf Sif.

Probably the most beautiful and most sad boss fight in this game.

My defense was strong enough so that his hits could not even flinch my stamina.
