Chips were nicer than McDonald's, and I look very mcd's chips! But yeah, burger was nice, but nothing to write home about. Still, always nice to have options. Will try the crispy chicken burger next time.

Say, are the drinks bottomless? They gave me a cup and I only filled it once, but just wondering
 
Yip bottomless drinks.... thats the seller to sit and eat.... I agree chips are probably better then mac d.... probably.... not a guarantee....

Hehe, it's quite a close thing. I had thought that McDonald's chips were untouchable. The fact that these give me doubts as to which is the best is a sign of their excellence! Although I didn't notice the tomatoe sauce dispenser...
 
Colleague and I went to get BK at the one by the Sasol in Centurion. We waited no more than 15 minutes, and that was over lunchtime. It was as bland as when my wife and I tried it the first time in Cape Town...

I think i saw someoens FB profile mentioning chilli cheese fries or nuggets or somethign like that i want to try thsoe !

Really? I didn't see any of that on the menu. Will have a look when I go back. Want to try out their crispy chicken burger. Looks like a rounder, but only 19 bucks
 
Technically, if we are to properly adopt American culture, you are not allowed to call anything a "burger" if it's not made with beef. Anything resembling a burger that is not made with beef, is called a sandwich. So you can call it a chicken sandwich, but never, ever, call it a chicken burger.

wow, i didnt know this. i knew they called any burger a HAMBURGER, whether it was pork of beef. oh, and its "MURICA" :D

Much in the same way eating curry makes me Indian and using a sony phone makes me Japanesse. Just because I consume the media does not mean it's influences my dress sense or habits anymore than wearing a Red EFF barrett makes me an economic freedom fighter crying screw the economy, death to the Rand.
 
if you are in ownership of a pair of Nike's, Levi's, or the like, I hate to tell you, but you have adopted the culture. Watching their movies, listening to their music, eating their food, is adopting their culture.

I am South African. Yet I adopt their culture. 99% of this country does. Is it a bad thing? No, not at all. Does it make me less of a man? I laugh at the thought. So why does it bother people so?

People are far too ready to jump down the throats of the Americans, yet possess 90% of the stuff they export. Cut all ties to the country and culture, then have your say on adoption of their exported goods.
