South Park: The Stick of Truth review and opinion roundup

Was picking this up just because I'm a big fan of the show, but super excited now that it actually seems to be a pretty good game.
 
Really pleased it's getting good reviews - I'm a big fan of the show and my pre-order is placed :D
 
I was actually a bit put off because I haven't watch South Park in forever. However since this actually turned out to be solid I think I'll grab some seasons and catch up to the latest stuff. Then I'll hold off for a sale I think.

I was a bit worried. Rock Paper Shotgun gave was very negative about certain technical aspects of the game, although they were positive about the story and humour. Most of the other reviews only seem to say good things. What makes me most excited was the fact that it "plays like a 14 hour episode of South Park". That sold it for me.

The dilemmas of life as a gamer. Which is why I don't want kids unless I'm rich. I'd resent them :p (kidding obviously, I know you would never resent your own children so no offense to the parents around here ;))
 
It's freaking hilarious and does indeed feel as if you're in an actual episode of South Park!
Not a single iota of satire goes unappreciated! It's definitely worth it if you're a South Park fan. :D
