I am not a huge expert but try and get good yellows to replace the sets, yes, the set secondaries are nice but nothing beats pure raw Int for damage and survivability due to overall resists.

Also, take a look at the corpse bomb rune for Acid cloud, you can drop massive damage by spamming that. The trick is to get your mana back quickly.
 
Right so i'm back in the game and hot damn is it good! I don't know if it's the changes they've patched in or my better net, but I really enjoying it a hell of a lot more!

Ok guys... So I jumped in last night for the first time since December 2012... I need some help...

Iv got my lvl 60 Monk and 14 Paragon lvls, but all my Items except 2 are rares... so only 2 legendary...

I was rocking the game when i stopped playing, but if anyone could take a look here and let me know what u think i would greatly appreciate it...

Also like what lvl should i start playing at again to build up to torment? :wtf: whats what now? Like whats the equivalent to inferno? Coz i played through inferno fine with my guy as he is...
 
Gear wise, just use what ever you have and what ever drops. Play around with your skills, find what works for you, we all have something different we use.

I am not bothering with gearing up as much right now since we are getting the new stuff soon enough as it is.

Your build seems fine for torment 1, you have too little HP and DPS to go any higher I think.

Try Master or Torment 1 to ease you back into the game. Once you are geared up a bit more you can up the Torment level. Helps quite a bit to grind those Paragon levels and Recipes before the expansion hits.
 
Yea Im doing torment 2 on my wiz and its fun and still easy, torment 3 I only do in a group since I dont have the hp :P

Cool... I think im gona jump in at Torment 1 from the beginning with a group to try get my mojo back...

Tried Torment 6 last night. Everything (even those little scorpion bastards in Act 3) feel like you're fighting Diablo. :p

Anyway, so I was playing Heart of Sin on T3 last night and got totally clan fcked. I'm playing with 2 clan dudes and another guy. We get the Azmodan and the random dude bails. So the 3rd guy from this clan pitches up and they vote kick me ! Fcking hell - I slogged my ass through that level just like everyone did.

Hey man,

Been playing monk almost exclusively since day one and also in RoS.
First of all, before the AH goes down grab the recipe for archon gloves and bracers.
Then craft. Anything you craft will likely be better than what you are wearing.

Also try make better use of your OWE passive. Your single resists are pretty random.

If you look at your D3up here :
You have pretty good EHP, getting that OWE res sorted will help loads and push it even more.
Your DPS is low though.

Lots like jewelry should be DPS stats only. Get that Crit Dmg% up and Crit. Your offhand ring is a dud in my book.

For a 2H heavy bells build like your running it makes sense not to stack IAS so if you are going to stick to 2H then dont boost your IAS.
Near Death experience on your build is a massive waste. Even taking combinations strike will yeild an almost flat 10% damage boost.

On your sweeping wind cyclone is useless for your build. You need sick IAS and 45%+ crit to get good damage from it.
Blinding flash faith in light can be a good replacement. Pop it for a nice stun and then drop bells for dick amounts of damage for the next 3 seconds.
The cooldown isn't long either.

Other than that replace your helm. It's almost a dud for you also.
