Decided to spend all my uCount rewards and only needed to pay in R700 for the console "whistling:

Will be here by this coming week Friday by the latest hopefully!

As you can see it comes with Halo4 and Tomb Raider(excellent game I bought for PC).

Now here comes the problem, Halo4 is obviously a recentish title.

And Halo2 not being available on x360(I think?), should I go ahead and but the Halo Anniversary Edition first to understand how the story progresses. Following it up with Halo3,Halo3:ODST,Reach and then play Halo4?

Also I've bought Forza(being waiting forever to play this game especially with the skins!) and the 1st Gears of War.

Any input to this would be great as well as any recommended titles I need to play! :D

P.S. Gold worth it?

1. You idea with the Halo games is correct, start with Anniversary then work your way up.

2. Forza, which one is it? If it isn't Forza Horizon, then run to your local gaming store and buy a copy of it. Horizon is by far the best of the series.

3. I recommend Halo Anniversary, Forza Horizon and Fable 2 or 3.

4. With regards to Gold subscription, its highly dependent on if your planning to play multiplayer / online. Without Gold subscription you won't be able to access the multiplayer aspect of most games.

Also with the Gold subscription, you do get 2 free games a month. But not big titles like with PS+, mostly you get old games that are relatively cheap to buy.

Hope that helps :D

GTA V is definately better than IV and definately worth playing. but you have to checkout Crackdown. Its a much more liberating experience. you get to feel like a superhero, but in a Sandbox environment. and you will never know the true awesomness of ORB ADDICTION until you play Crackdown :D

Try to get Crackdown 1, its better in my opinion than nr 2.

Crackdown is incredibly difficult to get hold of, due to it being a launch title and having a bit of a cult status among fans. Same with Viva Piñata.

halo 2 is compatible with the 360, just look for a copy on ebay or get the pc version of halo 2

you can dload it from the XBLA store. it was given away free for GOLD live members, but not sure if those promos are retroactive ?

Nope, you can't activate retrospectively. I was referring to a physical disc version of the game. Is Viva Piñata available on the store?

Nothing wrong with Forza4. In fact I love it. The thing is Forza Horizon is more for the arcade racer (with a slight story line) as Forza4 is more for the petrol head who likes a simulation experience.

Both equally great games and both deserve a play through. But yes, definitely get Horizon along with Forza4

I played Halo 2 first, then 3 and 4. Busy with odst and then Reach. I can't really follow stories too well in games so i just fill in the blanks via wikipedia. Halo 4 owns! It's definitely the best one.
I highly suggest getting a Gold subscription for multiplayer, its affordable enough.

Crackdown is completely awesome. Its super boring at first but just gets so much better when you start levelling up your abilities.

Get Fable as well dude. It's an awesome RPG ever (in my opinion). Probably the best RPG i've ever played in my entire life.

I already tried the first series of HALO on my classic Xbox. Haven't managed to finish it and still stuck on the level where i can use a hover boat in the high level of tower/building. I think i'm not a big fan of pure sci-fi games. But i love some horror/monster sci-fi games like Doom 3 or Dead Space. These are suitable for me. lol
