Sigh, Now I'm kinda compelled to do the deed... Just started a "No Fap for 4 weeks" yesterday. Guess it'll be delayed by a day. :/
Not alot of people use Pornhub? I'd say most people use xhamster/xvideos
What are you insinuating? That us gamers are losers who indulge in gaming and porn??

lol sorry. Urgh. Cringe. Porn is evil. It is serious and corrupts the mind and destroys lives. It really shouldn't be taken lightly and joked about.

Well the porn industry invented E-commerce so without porn we wouldn't have steam sales etc. Then it also got the VHS industry started which evolved to DVDs (porn was also was first in that bandwagon).

Porn effectively built the modern world by getting people onto new mediums using mans most basic urge and desire, Sex.

That's all good and fine yes.. but at what cost to the end-user who abuses it and society to a mild extent?

People destroy their lives with anything. Even videogames destroy lives. As with anything else porn has an age restriction for a reason. It is also important for the consumers to realise that its all fake(most of the time) and the people are pro's and getting paid to perform.

IMHO, the biggest danger associated with pornography is that the music they use in the movies may become popular enough to make the shift to mainstream. But then again, listening to current top 40 hits, I'm not entirely sure this hasn't happened already.

I agree with the sentiment that porn definitely is evil and it's very, very addictive. But ultimately, I don't believe that porn in itself is the addictive part - it's the whole routine of what follows ending in a rush of endorphins. So it forms part of a larger addiction. I'm not criticizing anyone, I just strongly believe that porn has a real bad side to it concerning the people watching/using it.

So besides the debates about how damaging it is to woman/children/dolphins etc. I think people need to be aware of the damaging affects it may have to the end-users too. It really can ruin relationships, marriages and your self esteem. It's actually quite dangerous if you think about it and you tend to understand why there are so many groups against it. More importantly, why it's important to shield young minds from it. If you don't approach it with an adult, mature mindset it really can cause major damage.

This is a very interesting topic. It's intriguing to hear other people's views on the subject. Especially what some women think. Women, contrary to popular belief, are a lot more open minded about the subject than what some anti-porn groups would like you to think.
