Wii component vs hdmi?

I bought component cables over the stock ones.. MUCH better graphical fidelity but to be honest.. The Wii doesn't even output HD resolutions so why even bother? Just stick to component. Of course I haven't seen this thing in action but I highly doubt it will make any difference.

HDMI cable for a non-HD console? Makes no sense.
 
The only problem is where the heck do I find component cables for the Wii. I've looked around and no store seems to the sell them :/

Where are you situated? There is a local guy here in cpt that stocks everything Nintendo. Good, friendly, reliable guy. Went to his house in person. So you know it's good. :)

Ah fantastic. I'm in Cape Town too. Will definitely check that out! Though I hear that generic cables are known to cause problem that's why I was thinking of the official Nintendo ones.
