Top Mini ITX motherboards pricing roundup

I've only ever considered to use these mini ITX boards with an Intel atom CPU as a server for my home network. But it looks like one will actually be able to set up a nice gaming rig with these depending on the GPU it can fit.

I think it will go nice with the mini Antec Skeleton case :P
 
I've been eyeing m-itx for my next build because of some space issues in my study. You have to make some sacrifices (no SLI/crossfire) but you can build a really good gaming rig. From what I've read, cooling can be an issue in a closed case, so overclocking may also not be viable.

I am busy with a ITX build, but cannot seem to find any AMD FM2+ motherboards, no one seem to keep them or have stock.

There are, however, plenty for the INTEL platform but much more expensive.

If anybody know of an online retailer selling one for sub R1000, please let me know?

Off the top of my head I'm sure ASrock makes one but you not gonna get it for less than R 1 500 imho. Because of the limited space and generally limited expansion options, m-itx mobos tend to be quite feature-rich and hence more expensive.
