It could be that the expiration date was not adjusted. Just use your download list and restart the download of the game and cancel it after it start downloading. Should reset the expiration date to the new expiration date of your PSPlus subscription and will probably work.

It's just the license that expired. Got to settings - PSN- Renew Licenses

That will fix the problem one time. I have no idea why this happens though, it's mildly annoying when it happens mid game.

It's Sony's DRM on PS4. If the game doesn't renew it's license it locks itself, something I am a tad bit pissed off with. If you unplug your LAN cable and boot up your PS4 a select few digital games will be locked, you need to be connected to the net to play them. Dead Nation and Don't Starve are such games, DCUO and Outlast don't though. I'm assuming it's due to the devs implementing such features and not Sony, but it's still shit.

Mine is set to auto as well, but I have the yearly sub. Worth every bit, but understand your anger. Not nice when the choice was taken away from you.

Yeah, especially when I only had R47 in my account...

I'll get the year sub when there's more content for the PS4. And after we've settled into my new place (yet to be determined) and I have a fixed line again
 
The European PlayStation Plus line-up for April 2014 has allegedly been outed by Gamepointsnow, which seems to be a specialist in revealing future PS Plus offerings.

According to the blog, the line-up includes Mercenary Kings on PS4, PES 2014 and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time on PS3, and Hotline Miami and MotoGP 13 on PS Vita.

Not a bad selection by any means.

Mercenary Kings has also been confirmed as the PS Plus free game on the Asian store.

Expect Sony to confirm the line-up pretty soon.

lastly... is there a place via the web I can deactivate my PS3?
I activated my friends PS3 with my account and now wish to deactivate it, but I heard something about contacting PartServe in order to do this?

There should be an option for auto-renew yes. It's set to auto by default if I am not mistaken.

Hmmm... I can see two consoles labeled as such;

My PS3 System and My PS3 System 2

How do I know which is which, is there some way I can see which was the most recent connection or latest activity on it?
Seeing as I recently bought and loaded content on mine, I can see the transactions but I am not sure which system the transactions are associated with.

Or shall I just deactivate all and then just reactive mine when I get home?

I did that once, deactivated all and just activated again the ones I had left. Think you can only do it once every few months or so though, so maybe just make sure about the T's & C's first.
 
So I downloaded Mercenary Kings (twice) but for some reason I'm not allowed to play it, apparently I don't own the license... :wtf:
