inFAMOUS: Second Son- All the info you need

Geeez! That was quick

I decided to go hero first :D

I pretty much played the whole of Thursday and about half of Friday, but I did rush it a bit towards the end. Reckon it took me about 12 hours.

My hero playthrough will be at least twice that though, planning on doing all of the side stuff, but only once I finish the hero campaign.

Loved playing evil, but for the first time in an inFAMOUS game I am so far enjoying being a hero more. Love pedestrians cheering me on the street, taking pics etc.

Hahaha! Yeah I don't normally play the good guy, but I'm liking the attention :p

I think playing evil is easier and more fun :D

But with my OCD this game will keep me busy for a loooong time. I only move to the next area once the UDP has been driven out of the current area

Yeah, playing evil is more fun in the sense that you can just destroy everything in your path without worrying about civilian casualties etc., but I'm enjoying hero more because of the different powers e.g. the focused aim for the neon beam etc. Of course, playing evil has it own unique power "mods" but I'm just enjoying the good side ones more.

Gonna rush through the campaign once more so I can leave all the side stuff and clearing DUP out for post-game.

Potential spoiler alert (for inFAMOUS 2) below:

Hopefully it works the same as inFAMOUS 2 where once you finish the game both good and evil, you unlock all of the powers for your second playthrough post-game. I'm bargaining on that so that I can have all the powers to do the post game cleaning and shard hunting. If it turns out to be different I'll just go back to my evil playthrough and finish up so I can destroy stuff again.

Wlad, how many missions are there in total?

I finished the first half of Seattle and there was only one mission per UDP territory (7-8 in total-ish) before you move onto the next half of Seattle. I'm clearing out the UDP and everything is definitely increasing my play time, but the actual story itself is seeming incredibly short?? Like Call of Duty short.

Not sure about the exact number of missions. The story is not that long but it definitely didn't feel CoD short though, lol. I think if you rush through it doing only the missions and nothing else (except the mandatory DUP control centre stuff) it would take you about 8 hours or so depending on difficulty. But then there is also the other playthrough (good/evil) which is well worth doing, as well as post-game shard hunting and any side stuff you left and the papertrail missions being added weekly.

Just finished this and was very surprised at how short the story was. Don't know why but I was expecting GTA quality side missions. Other than that it was super awesome and I'll definitely play through it again to see how different things are with evil karma.

Thought I was basically done with my first play through, but apparrently I was wrong.... now I have to clear the Lantern District as well
