Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Only managed to get to lvl 63 last night because I started work today

So far, Crusader is just awesome - that sweep skill combined with that spell (whatsitcalled) is so much fun. And I've managed to get some killer drops for both my Barb and DH. My eyes nearly fell out of my face when 2 marquise rubies dropped :P

Yeah I rolled up a Crusader currently level 26, she has some pretty damn great voice acting and I love her character. Where as the Witch Doctor is wise from knowledge, the Crusader is worldly wise and as such the dialogue is great.

She's here somewhere: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/GazWorks-2363/hero/38049589

Apart from that the skills are awesome! Never removing that Celestial Steed ability, it breaks all CC on you and because you move so fast you take almost no damage when moving through damage per second effects like desecrate or poison. Saved me several times from frozen and arcane enchanted elites.

So damn good

I find Normal through Expert too easy especially if you have a fully upgraded blacksmith the crafted gear levels the playing fields in Master.

I tend to start off with what the game drops - only after a while do I go to my blacksmith. In that sense, master would be suicide.

I started roflstomping on Torment 1, then as soon as the first quest finished the game trolled me and roflstomed me :/ had to bring difficulty down to Master

The only character I have at the moment who can handle Torment consistently is my Witch Doctor. I constantly found myself over powering an area. Eventually I wound up finishing her playthrough on toment III. I can probably do Torment IV, but killing things takes FOREVER so it's not worth it yet. Rather gear up a bit.

Okay, to clarify. This is my very first, ever, Diablo character. Ever.

Did Play Titan Quest and the Dungeon Siege games, playing PoE so not an ISO-RPG nub really.

Yeah play on Expert then(since I think Master would still be locked for you?) I think with experience in PoE, TQ, torchlight etc. you'll still find it a little easy.

Maybe Hard just to get the feel for it - then raise to Expert if you're just mopping the floor with monsters.

My general rule of thumb is :
If you can kill a treasure goblin then your good to go.
If you roflstomp it then go harder.
If you fail to get 95% of them at least then go easier.

Start with normal and get use to the game untill you get some nice gear, once you are use to everything and think this is too easy.. just press ESC and raise the difficulity to Hard and take it from there.

Me and my GF started fresh yesterday and started on Normal.. but it was just too easy, then we went too Hard and can't go higher atm so just trying to complete the acts atm to take it even higher :)

I think you can go from normal to hard by just pressing escape, however if you want to go higher you have to end your current game first, then change the difficulty, and then you can continue.

i wish you could change it all the time. would be nice.

You also can't change difficulties down while in a Hardcore game. You can still exit and adjust them though.

Yeah I'm not sure why the limitation is there, but my best guess is, that it's to prevent people from switching to a higher difficulty just before a boss dies, to get more experience, etc. I could be wrong, though.

ah thanks Eugene, so thats how that works, did not notice, no wonder i could not go higher.

Can someone please explain to me why if u get the game from Kalahari, its like R390.00 but if i try buy the "Digital Download" Directly from blizzard, i must pay 40 Euro... Close to R600.00... And im not even getting the DVD or anything?

And iv already updated my client so i have the whole game installed already??? So buying the game rom kalahari means im waiting for them to deliver me a f-ing cd key...
