Guys, to be fair, I don't think we should be making assertions about people's characters based on what offends them. Like Meneer 44 mentioned earlier, I can get how some might be offended by the headline, it is what it is. The mudslinging is my problem, it's completely unnecessary.

But the TK elite are doing the slinging, how could it be a problem?

I'm referring to everyone involved... That includes the post on MyBB since that's where I assume some of the mudslinging started, along with everyone involved in mudslinging in the boozy bunch thread.

Also, it disturbs me a bit that you keep referring to the "TK elite" (are you referring to a group within the TK or the TK in general?).

The fact that offence was taken is sad and tragic.

I'd love to discuss this further right now, but I have somewhere to be. I'll post my opinion about the whole mess later tonight.

Just associative elements, I am generally referring to some of the Veteran members of the forum, TK Elite just sounds good, weird that this has become the topic of discussion:p But you're cool, so I'll break it down for you:

  • When I joined it was in the heat of a PS4 giveaway, where it became apparent that spamming is frowned upon, unless you have been around for more than three months and spam the TK thread - which is a chat room. Some don't even comment in other threads, they just spam here. That's where my "double standard" joke comes from :p
  • TK is also the place to discuss other forum going on's like some teenage girls instead of going at the argument like adults. I.e. Mephisto's comment a few pages back implying I am the reason he will stop supporting your clan.

  • The elites as stated above refers to the majority of active forum veterans, mostly active in TK.

So yeah, no relevance really, just catchy. :)

M44, nah. Anger is a strong term. You are correct on the root cause though, to a degree.

Its a sensitive issue for me but I am not getting all angry about it. I mean I live with an alcholic who makes my life hell but shit this is a light hearted joke
 
Bleh someone is wrong on the internet...again. People get butthurt a lot on forums...that's why I only post on stuff that interests me these days.

I've learned my lesson with this nonsense. There are people who enjoy smashing their strong controversial opinions and luring a reaction out of it. I've argued with them before, but realized that when this is all over and done, they'll still think the same thing and you'll still be angry.

How much do they hate free time if they spend all of it arguing over insignificant bullshit?
