Sorry man, I've tried to help you out in that regard:rolleyes:.

All you can really do is lay down some ground rules/guidelines (which are there if memory serves me well) and use your discretion to deal with behavior that's outside these parameters.

Howzit everyone. Been busy lately so I haven't been around much.

Had to have root canal the other day :(, going back on Monday for the second half of the procedure.

Aaah shite, I remember being in that position as well with my last company. When they merged, they needed to give all the employees new contracts and they wondered why I wasn't ordering the new uniforms xD.

The trick is to GTFO out quick as possible and try stall them for as much as possible before giving them the surprise!

ja i have this sneaky suspicion that my notice period is gonna change form 30 days to 2 calendar months. they wanted this chicky to give a calendar month and then she told them actually only have to give you 14 days cause i dont have a contract... that really pissed the Ass boss off hey...

Sigh...they always try to get that last bit out of you hey... My contract said END OF THE CALENDAR MONTH but they made me work a full month from the night I sent my resignation to my boss. Oh they we're like "We need a contingency plan bla bla" and they wanted me to train the junior okes and all kinds of BS to which I just refused.

Meh...no worse feeling in the world than working at a shitty job, trying to get desperately get out.. thinking back on that now I almost went emo.

i dont have a contract. only a letter of appointment, which i signed in 2012 and there was no set period. i have been here for 7 years though this year

I think it's part of the labour law, that if you have been at a business for longer than a certain amount of years, you have to give a calendar month's notice, regardless of your original agreement or contract. You might want to find out about that.
