What SA gamers drink

Also, you didn't state how big your shot glasses were!

What is this? A shot glass for ants?!

LMAO...I immediately read that as Zoolander even though I can't see the image! Nope, standard size shot glasses. I use them for cooking and baking...so they have to be standard size. Although, that might explain why my trifle is so popular over christmas. Grandma LOVES my trifle.

HAHA! Poor Grandma, she probably doesn't even know why she loves it. ;P Sneaky bastard.

PS. It was indeed a Zoolander reference :P

Hey! No way, with Stockholme syndrome you're aware of the problem and sympathise with your 'captor.'

I don't sympathise with or defend beer, I just love it. There's no need to defend the deliciousness that is beer. There's nothing like coming home on a Friday after a long day of work and cracking open a cold one. If there is a heaven, I'm pretty sure it tastes like beer.

On that note, I almost never drink, but I really love...:

...in ice-cream

Oh my god. If you're ever in Cape Town, go by Fire & Ice at the Protea Hotel. They have the most amazing Dom Pedros in the world. If I had the money I would go there every day.

So much denial. :p

I'm part of "other" ... again ...

Am I the only one around here who drinks Guinness? Half the restaurants I go to don't stock it. After a couple cans at a place in Midrand the waiter told me I finished all their stock :-(

Will "want moar Guinness" get past the immigration officers in Ireland? :P

There's a spot here in PTown East called Grafters. They've got Guinness on tap too.

Ah Grafters, my old pub. I stayed like 400m away from it and have been the countless times. A very nice English style pub, and their whiskey selection is amazing. They had a bottle of Johnny Walker One, a bottle the owner told me cost them R87000 to buy.

Just a single form me, in that case. And I guess it would be frowned upon if I asked for coke with it?

I find lots of places here in Cape Town have Guinness on tap, but because it's not a popular beer the kegs sometimes seem to get old and the taste goes a bit off.

Someone who knows what a Dom Pedro is! I'm shocked!

I figured going with "in ice-cream" saved explaining it :D

Haven't had one in ages. I've got a craving for one of the peppermint liqueur variety. *smacks lips*

God I love this forum, we can talk about all manner of things but start a thread about booze and it's still going strong after 18 pages :D
