Yeah, the Batman Arkham games are Brilliant! Spec Ops is pretty decent as well. They should keep you entertained for quite a while.

Yeah, start off with Arkham Asylum. I enjoyed it immensely end of last year. I started with Arkham City, but couldn't get into it. I guess the whole sandbox element kinda lost the tight story-driven feeling I got from the first game.
 
gaming nomad lately:

in the past 3 days I've gone from Halo4 to Ghost Recon 2 to Ghost recon Future Soldier to Dishonoured and now on Crysis 3.

I've just realised there is a sh!t ton of good games in my collection and zero time to play so Im playing little bits of everything when I can.
 
I'm re-installing GTA IV will be getting some extreme graphics and real car mods for it to see what it looks like on my 250x1440 @ 96Hz monitor
 
So I played GTA 4 with some mods like Icenhancerand hd raods and on 2560x1440 it's really taxing on system bu I can see it's not efficient. My GPU is not going to full speed and cpu is strong enough.

My specs =

i7-3770k (stock speeds)
r9-280x
16GB corsair vengeance ram
etc etc

My FPS is like 25-40+ FPS depends on area.

GTA IV on PC is horribly unoptimized. Regardless of your machine, it'll run like crap.

Hmmm... interesting, could this not be game related as GTA IV was never really designed to be played at those resolutions and therefore not making optimal use of the system?!
