i only convert to Human when i am near boss, otherwise i get mad when i fall to my death and waste human form. i also tend to wear a ring of protection if i have a lot of souls on me. its basically like buying a human effigy for 3k souls, with added bonus of soul retention :)

I used the ring for a bit, then realised I was ruining the stress of dying and losing my souls, haven't used it since.

I've so far taken down two bosses in NG+, 1 death so far. Once you start NG+ it's like the game goes "Welcome to the real Dark Souls!". :/

Haha, yeah it is actually a very typical Souls experience, but it really got to me at the time and I haven't really felt like playing again since. Stopped DS1 at Blighttown the first time I bought it and only played it again on PC much later and then I stopped at Anar Londo. Still haven't finished it. I do have my annual leave coming up in about a week (off for almost 3 weeks) so I'll get plenty of time to either keep on playing and try to finish on the PS3 or just get the PC version and try another build.

At the moment I am completely stuck on Dragon's Dogma (again) though. Never got around to playing the Dark Arisen content and this time I want to do that and more (like try to max all vocations, get all the idols for merchant, etc.).

That may take a while, you realize?

I really hope you get back into Dark Souls, I plan on giving DkS a second run once done here.

Yeah, I'll have all the time I need from Sunday afternoon. I work my last shift on Sunday and then I'll only go back on May 17. I reckon that's enough time for both DD and DS2, or rather I hope. :p

I really enjoy DS2, but me for Demon's Souls remains the best game out of all three. Maybe it was because it was the first of it's kind I ever experienced, but I could not stop playing it. I sat there for almost 16 hours straight on some days and finished the game 3 times. Once I got into DD's combat again I had to keep playing and there seems to be no stopping for now, but I'll definitely revisit DS2 sooner rather than later.

I'll agree its a game I need to get back into and actually finish, but at the moment I find it hard to play anything but DS2.
I actually also wanna play some Demon's Souls, I have never, and hopefully I can finish DS2 during my leave period before I start another Souls title.

You're probably aware of this but Demon's Souls is really cheap on PSN at the moment, like close to R60 I think.
 
Yeah, just after I actually bought it. The day I got DS2 I went out and bought DkS with DLC and DeS. But it's cool, at least now I own the entire collection in hard copy.
Also have the PTD Edition on Steam.

Yeah I've also got the PC version. I, regrettably, traded in my PS3 version of DS1 though. And my Demon's Souls is the Asian version that I got a while before the local release. Still want to get another copy of DS1 someday.

I've actually also got to get back to Dragons Dogma, I stopped playing right at the end of the game. I also need to still do the Dark Arisen content myself. For now I'm just first going to try and experience a bit more NG+ content in DS2 before moving on.

Shjoe! What a progressive day it has been. Klaar with all the four old souls and now en route to The castle and King Vendrik.

Same boat dude. We overdid the soul farming early on and very few people within soul memory range at that point in the game
 
OMG this is going to make me rage!
The Pursuer found in the room of Smelter Demon? Yeah.... I fsking hate him!

He's extremely easy once you learn his moves. Stick to his shield side and keep strafing right, then win. :)

When he's about to shield slam you just roll through, wait half a second and roll again for sword swing then hit him.
 
Gave up with that... Pfft... Was making me mal =P
Got to Vendrick Castle, fought a bunch of Royal Swordsman and some gold knights, then died. I can't find any bonfire around there! So back to Shaded Woods =\

Any who, busy working my way through Drangleic Castle, taken out all those darned sentinels again. Taken out the two Dragonriders. I have a sneaking suspicion that Mirror Knight is around the corner.
