Pfft cheat like I do and play with a walkthrough next to you. It won't help with the fighting but at least you'll know where to go and where to get secret stuff.
Wow the dlc areas are much tougher than the normal game! I finally killed the final boss in Eleum Loyce and it took me multiple tries. As in lots of tries. To give you an idea how long it took, look at the amount of souls I have after I finally beat him.
