I can vouch for Termi :) can he not be granted access so that he can create a giveaway just for the MyGaming Group ? I fully understand the need for "posting/regular" rules in order to exclude fly-by-night entrants, but shouldn't the willingness to start off with a gift be grounds for early admission ? :)

You have to understand, the fact that he started posting in this thread in particular, rather than introducing himself or posting anything anywhere else, plus the fact that he only has 10 steam games on his name, raises many flags. He'll have to prove himself just like everyone else.

Hey Eugene

Didn't mean to stir the pot, I just wanted to give a game away. As for not introducing myself I must apologise, I actually didn't even realise that I have never posted on this forum. I've been a member for a while.

The reason I have only 10 games should not raise any flags as I stated I just recently started pc gaming after a very long time. These games were accumulated in the last month or so.

I am on other forums, SA Gamer and Xbox -360 to name a couple.

Created a private steam gifts comp so it still only benefits the locals.

No harm done and no offence meant, I'm sure. The guys are just a bit weary of new guys because it can (and does) happen that people try to get in just to score a few quick games and boom, they are gone. You are off to good start by creating a GA, it does show intent of being part of the community. And if you post regularly, you'll be part of everything in no time at all. Who knows, you may even enjoy the chats and debates ;)

@termin8r, yea I don't think anything said above is said aggressively in any way. Joined your giveaway, and I love you for it, so no worries on my side. Pretty sure you'll be quick to become one of the locals.
