I got a problem, not sure what it is...

mmmh, so new case it is, any suggestion... I have two 12cm fans running in here, and i have cleaned the pc twice already... Think it could be ventilation. My Case got side mesh grills, and lower front air vents...

Oh yes, thanks for that.. Im kinda dissapointed in you Lycanthrope(hereon know as lyca).
Lyca, i expected a 12 paragraph report on this :p The in's and out's of ventilation :p

Before you jump at a new case, make sure you run the Prime 95 blended stress test for at least an hour. This will max out your CPU and substantial chunk of your RAM.

As for 75C on your GTX 295, that doesn't sound unreasonable at all. I have a 4870x2, a GTX295 is similar being a dual GPU card. These things run hot, mine can easily get to 90C in games and while I can't speak with 100% confidence about the GTX 295, that is perfectly normal for the 4870x2.

So i left the case open and the GPU temperatures drop from 75C to 69C on the first GPU. and 74C to 69C, i didnt add the fan yet to get it lower. (Again these are at idle)

As for prime95, everytime i run it my antivirus says its a virus and deletes it, any one got any other program i can use?

Oh and i ran the crysis benchmarking tool, at high and very high with the side panel off on my pc it ran stable for and hour with the gpu temps not exceeding 91C for the most and staying around 87-89 for both cards most of the time.

Nice case, btw :3

See, 90C in games (load) is fine. My card (GTX260+) idles between 40-50C, which, to me, is normal. At the moment it's at 40C. Woot for good airflow :p and an ice-cold room :x Its load temps are around 70-80C.

However, idling at 75C?

nVidia claims max temp for a 295 as being 105C. You can already imagine that if it's idling at 75C, then, when it gets stressed, it's going to be running in excess of 90-95C and those temps will get compounded when the ambient temp of the smaller case rises along with it. It's why they need breathing room - the hot air has to go somewhere and cold air has to come in from somewhere.

The cases Gradius and I own, they're basically mesh, so they're "open" for the most part and the fans help with airflow.

Sounds good. So think that temps were the problem?

Yeah i am begin to think the temps were the problem but i am going to run it again to night with everything on max or high and see how it goes.

It is a good case but personally i think there are cases that offer much of the same for a much lower price. Zap, why don't you up the fan speed manually on your gfx cards and then try the games that were giving you problems? Put it at 60%.

What you guys think of this case, it the thermal take kandalf...

I spent (literally) months trying to get my hands on that case. Everywhere I tried said it was out of stock and many said it was discontinued (Sybaritic included). So, I'm not sure if you'll be able to get it.

But, considering I wanted it badly enough to spend months waiting for someone to get it in stock, I think fairly highly of it.

It was pretty much after I was told it's discontinued that I started my search again and found my Cosmos S. I prefer it, I find it more attractive, it has a whooole lot of room, it has excellent ventilation and has a nice 20-something-cm sidepanel fan. It's sturdy as hell and looks awesome with lumo-green fans :D

But as much free-advertising as I am, I can't say anything bad about the Kandalf, I think it's beautiful.
