Classic horror games that still terrify

Clive Barker's Undying and Condemned: Criminal Origins are two of mine.

I actually bought Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth not long ago. I should get around to playing it sometime, but there's a lot of patching that needs to be done in order to bypass the numerous bugs in the game.

Silent Hill 3. Walking through an abandoned amusement part, with the music and the atmosphere *shudders*

The mirror room in the hospital of SH3 is probably at the top of my list of gaming moments that terrified me. It severely creeped me out (I was like 13). *shudders*

I found Doom 3 (if it can be considered a classic) to be pretty scary specially because you couldn't have a torch and a gun out at the same time

Clive barker's undying is still on my list! I've seen gameplay of Jericho and it seemed genuinely fun! This author is seriously underrated compared to the more better known Stephen King.

I still think Dead Space scared me more than any of the horror games combined.Ooh but Silent Hill was freaky as hell.

And in Silent hill 1 that scene when some messed up thing breaks through the window of the bar. :D
Still remember it to this day.

I think all the best/memorable scares are the ones which are scripted unfortunately. Still have yet to play a game where unscripted/situational scenarios in games are as scary as the scripted ones.
