There should be a bunch of servers. All South African players should get together on one server.

Will definitely try it out, I have a weak spot for these survival type games, doesn't matter how many come out, I must try them all

It's running on the same engine as Planet Side 2 (Forgelight engine), isn't PS2 quite unoptimised though (or was that quite a while ago)?

looks pretty awesome, but gonna wait a bit. I don't think I can stomach the patience for another alpha.
Give me a godam finished game!

Unfinished games gets released earlier each year due to demand. To businesses it's about quantity NOT quality. Kids of today don't care about how it works... As long as it works to some degree. :D

No Planet Side 2 has improved greatly in the performance department and it truly is a unique game.

The open world survival genre market is becoming pretty saturated. Do we really need another one of these?

The market is saturated with alpha version of open world survival games.
If SOE comes up with a release built with all the mentioned features, it'll woo a lot of the audience.

Wouldn't mind giving it a try, it's free after all :D

Only free when the official game gets released.. if you want to join the alpha it's go8ng to be $20:rolleyes:

Waaaht? Why would people pay to test a free game?? :confusedJackyChanMeme:

Back in the days it was the other way around. Testers get the alpha for free, and charge for the release.

Yeah its weird.. but I think your just paying to be able to start before anyone else.. to be part of the early access people.. you'll probabely get some special tag next to your name or some unique items for having paid

Game companies are simply exploiting peoples desire to always be the first to try something new.

It's the "I must have this now" and "Shut up and take my money" attitude that's causing this.
