Playstation Plus Thread

So starting June PS+ will be offering 2 titles per platform. PS4 titles for June is Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2. PS3 will be getting NBA14 and Lone survivor.

Not too keen on NBA, but I heard that it is good. I still have a massive backlog to move through so this doesn't phase me much. Halfway with DmC, then I'll move on to either Far Cry 3 or BioShock Infinite.

I think it'll be a while before AAA titles show up.

Far cry 3 is great, i skipped a bit through my backlog and played far cry and now i'm busy with Tomb Raider.

NBA is awesome!! I've been playing them all since NBA2K10 and this is the best sport simulation series on the market IMO. 2K14 is especially awesome on PS4, but the PS3 version is still an amazing game. Even if you know nothing about the sport there is a great mulitplayer sport game to play with friends and the career mode is one of the best in the sports genre; very, very addictive.

Wait. Did you just call Trine 2 crappy? Are you kidding me? Yeah sure it's not a big AAA retail title, but if you expected AAA titles for PS4 this soon you're only kidding yourself.

Yes I have, I don't like side scrolling games. The only nice thing about these monthly PSN deals are the discount on AAA titles :)

I've heard that about the series, just figured it would be an adjustment because I don't know much about the sport. I'll give it a shot.
 
Hi guys. I recently got the PS4 through FNB which included a 3 month PS Plus account. Last month I downloaded Stick it to the Man, which was really fun. June's free games look pretty good too and I've been wanting to download them. But I can't see them in the Playstation Store at all. When does South Africa get the new June games? Even when I go to the South African playstation website they say that the game available this month is Stick it to the Man. Am I missing something here? Where are the new games (Trine 2 and that other one)?

It will probably be today, this is the first Wednesday of the new month. Check the store later this afternoon.

Ok great, will do. Yeah, I read that they were starting with that first Wednesday of the month of release in July. Even so I stayed up until 12am last night waiting for the games to become available. I guess they don't release per time zone.

Yeah, the store typically refreshes in the afternoon. Log in to the website via your PC and add the games, then head back and download them when you get home (or you can order your PS3 to download them remotely)
 
Yeah the store takes some time to update, but you can just search for them on the store. Got all the games now :).

The ZA store pretty much updates the same time as the UK store every Wednesday.
