Without Memory heading to PS4: new Unreal Engine 4 title

Anyone else got excited up to the part where you read about Russians being behind this? Talk about an instant let down.

I tend to think that easter Europeans make some good games a bit buggy but usually good.

Sorry, my impression of Russians has been cemented by my experience with them in Dota 2. To this day, every time I hear the term "Russian Scientist" I giggle at the biggest oxymoron of them all.

Photo-realistic graphics and yet all the images for the game are concept art. I wonder if they will actually achieve photo-realistic graphics or whether they are just creating hype.

I find the South Africans to be worse. It's gotten even worse than when Twilight ran the local Dota1 servers. Unfriendliest guys ever.

Anyway, when I read "Extensive use of the DualShock 4" I hope they don't mean "Many quick-time events"

Probably just a statement to attract more attention and hype, yes

Photo-realistic...lol....maybe in a couple of years.

Hearing good things about the the new unreal engine in the dev crowd though...specifically that the latest cryengine is a biatch to work with whilst UE4 is not.

Unreal engine is a dream come true! If you know nothing about programing with a simple tutorial and some know how in about an hour you can make a room with connecting passages and have multiple light sources throughout, it's ability to scale is also a plus U4 engine can run in a web browser, tablets, phones, PC's and consoles.

It also has an amazing ability to create various art styles from UT3 to Bioshock and even Borderlands 2, it amazes me that they are all the U3 engine.

I can't really comment on the use of Cryengine whilst it is far more complex is does produce more complex results, albeit it does not scale as well as U3/4.
