Steam Summer Sale 2014 - What You Gonna Buy!

I'm hoping that one of the games on my wishlist will be 75% or more off and I'm also looking to buy a game to give away in out Steam giveaway group.
 
Bought Witcher 1 and the Last Remnant thus far. Don't want to spend too much of my weekend whiskey money and not be able to buy whiskey :'(

Actually looking for some nice co-op games for me and the SO.

Bullfrog bundle (Dungeon Keeper 2, Populous the beginning, Theme Park, Theme Hospital)

And its only the 2nd day, this will be bad =/

Well atleast you got some great game, especially vampire. "I don't even play games on PC" - you need to rectify that ;)

I'm thinking of picking up euro truck, seems like a great price and many good reports on it.
 
Damn you yes Euro truck looks like a very good deal. It's sitting in my cart, and I'm having a serious talk with myself about whether or not I should go through with the purchase...

Just could not resist 90% off, think thats my rule this thime round, and hopefully I'll stick to it.

I tried that last sale, I ended up buying less because the sale had expired. :o :p

From the site:

Summer Adventure Badge - 10 points
Summer Adventure Foil Badge - 100 points
any other game badge - 1 point
any foil game badge - 10 points

So any badge will contribute to the team, Summer badges just contribute more.

It seem to me that if you didn't contribute to the team, you won't get any rewards if your team wins. So a good move would be to only craft a badge once it looks like your team will be on the winning side.
 
I made the mistake of selling all my game cards as I got them over the year and now I can't craft anything. It doesn't look like my team will win though (pink). I'm glad to say that my credit card has been accepted now and I can buy things when necessary! :D

If you didn't contribute points, you get squat and as far as I can see, crafting badges is the only way to get points.

Here's the quote, decide for yourself if I'm reading it correctly:

Each day the team with the most points wins. 30 members of that team who contributed points that day will win 3 games off their Wishlist. Make sure to update your Wishlist.Anyone who contributed points to that win will get 2 bonus Summer Sale trading cards. Everyone else who contributed points that day will get 1 bonus card.

Ugh I haven't bought from Steam in a while and my previous credit card expired so I had to put in a new one. Now it wants to wait a week before I may buy or sell anything from the community market. Luckily I did this on Monday so I just got to wait until next Monday. But this is a warning to everyone.
