Summer cards which join into badges can drop items which sell for R400.00 and up. Really it's just gambling.
If I craft a badge vote etc... I get summer cards which I know can guarantee a couple rand when sold. Or craft a summer badge and maybe get lucky with some of the drops like free games etc...

For me the stupid thing is the the teams, as people are paying as much as R600 to swap teams in the hopes of winning games on their wishlist. Or they spend money to drop other peoples score. That is just insane to me.

Yeah, I also picked that up when I watched the video. Guess he doesn't watch the kickstarter updates :D

In case anyone is wondering, they said that they're going to voice the overhead text, so the ambient conversations the NPC's have and any narrative exposition, but the discussions between you, your party members and NPC's will not be voiced. Honestly, I'd wait and extra 3 months for them to voice everything, purely because Dragon Commanders voice acting is so good, but realistically, this is already costing them an arm and a leg (they said it was already more expensive than Dragon Commander's) and this game has a metric shit-ton of dialogue.

Call me a pessimist but I have a feeling it'll get delayed again. I watched the latest twitch stream yesterday, and it seems as if there's still a lot that they want to do. I don't really mind though, they can take as long as they need.

Today we are missing Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition and Nosgoth. You can easily go to the US store and buy them though. Nothing will happen to your account, at least nothing has happened to mine. Just make sure to use Paypal.

Seriously, what is up with all the Early Access games. Come on Valve, that defeats the purpose of Early Access.

Dude get the DLCs though...seriously...esp the dawnguard one. Need it to unlock Serana...best follower imo.

Personally I'd fork out for legendary in this case...it is that good. And thats coming from an oke that paid 100% for some of the DLCs.

It's too late now unfortunately. I already bought just Skyrim. Maybe one day I will get the DLC.

Ahaa, that makes sense. So either you flog cards for a guaranteed small total. Or craft badge and hope the resulting loot is valuable. I see team tokens for sale for over 30 dollars. I assume that's one of the potential random drops from crafting?

Valve are evil geniuses. This is just obscenely brilliant way to leverage money for nothing. More creatively devious than the lottery

No worries its great game either way (got standard + DLCs myself). Be sure to install the official high res texture pack, check my (uhm legendary) post/thread here and investigate the nexus mod site (is legit). Oh and the unofficial fixes....forgot the details but you'll see what i mean if you google...they're pretty high profile.
