Near the top Berko, not quite there :D

And here's an unlifting thought for you, Mr Shelton: You will only move up on that poll (and down the Bell) from here on out.

@Everybody who haven't voted yet:

Come on guys, we still need a

Before 1968,
1970-1971,
1994-1995,
2000-2001,
2002-2003,
and..
After 2003

to complete the set and get a trading card!

Lol, the 1986-1987 is winning the race :)

I am from the group people refer to as the "born-free's". Gonna be 20 this year (no more teenager :) )

Yes ... time waits for no-one eh?

Strangely, I thought upon my shameless gaming ways, my anime, and my otherwise child-like approach to life, and I realized this weekend, that I should maybe start growing up a bit, only a wee bit, but hell ... being 36 and still gaming every chance I get, hahaha ... I am not sure if it is the reason I didn't get married, or am I just gaming like a mad man because I skipped on the whole marriage then :D

I've been married for nigh on 7 years now AND game at least 10 hours a week. You just need a loving, understanding wife. Netflix and a seperate TV also helps in keeping her occupied and happy. :D

My SO sometimes forces me to play. Literally goes to my PC, opens Steam, and run a random game. She understands that, while my friends live in cities 6 hours away, it's time spent with them, in a sense. That's how I put in about 10 hours last week, most of which was in Payday. Most weeks it's closer to an hour, though.

She normally either reads or watches Vampire Diaries in that time. Turns out couples don't have to share every hobby.. :P

We're getting married in December :D

Btw, Lyly, I recognize that you're not being a 100% serious, just felt like the best post to reply to :D I can't remember, does your SO game much? I seem to recall that he posted here once on twice, but more for the community than the gaming?

Thank goodness for that :D

Congratulations. I hope you guys have a lifetime of happiness ahead of you!

Yeah, it was a bit tongue-in-cheek. Though I do believe that if your SO is incapable of understanding/respecting your feelings about something that you're passionate about (or if vice-versa) that the relationship is likely not going to last very long.

And yep, D's as much a gamer as I am. He's just not very social :p

The only gaming my wife does is HayDay, but sometimes she'll watch shows in the room while I play games in the lounge, otherwise most nights, once she falls asleep, I'll play for an hour or two in the room. I have a new wireless headset, so I can actually hear the game properly and not disturb her or the baby, which is cool. Sometimes, she'll watch a show on the tablet while I play a bit on the bedroom TV as well.

same here. although these days she's traded it for a PvsZ 2 addiction

Nice to see a thread about the age of an online community's members being derailed to a discussion on how their SOs allow them to play games. :D So let me jump in:

We recently finished building our house and we planned it so that the informal lounge is in the center of the house - almost part of the kitchen, with 2 built-in desks flanking a fireplace above which our 48" TV is mounted. So my wife can sit on the couch and enjoy a series or movie on Netflix or make dinner in the kitchen while I game at the desk. We're still in each other's company and we chat in between... It worked out great!
