Playstation Plus Thread

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but thinking of signing up for PS Plus when I get my PS4 sometime in the near future.

Wanted to know which region is best to sign up with? US or ZA(EU)? Or is it much of a muchness? And both regions offer the same games at similar prices with no real big savings from either region?

Just use our region. Works like it should and most of the same content is available (I know we can't get Chrono Cross because of some stupid rights issue). We fall in line with Europe, so we have everything that they have.

Just sign up on the ZA store. We get pretty much all the content on the UK Store.
 
Finally got around to downloading PES2014. Pretty fun game, huge adjustment to someone who normally sticks to FIFA. I haven't played PES since PES2 on the PSOne.

Switched my PS4 on for the first time in a couple of days, installed an update (think it was 1.74 or something) downloaded an update to Killzone, and now I can't sign into PSN. Can't play any of my PSN games and can't access the store.

When I go to settings, and try to sign into PSN from there... I just get a "Please wait..." which sits there forever and ever.

Anyone else experienced the same?

My update worked fine, can still access the store, though it did seem slower than before, with pictures and items taking longer to load and show.
 
Sometimes after PSN maintenance, I experience the same thing on my PS3 with the PSN store. It might be a cache issue, try turning your device and router off completely, then leave it off for a few minutes. Switch both back on and redo your network settings. That fixes it for the PS3.

Logged in with my account via PC. See I had to accept some terms and conditions there... kept trying afterwards about 20 minutes after that, everything was back to normal.
 
3 free games for PS4 on PS+! SCORE!

although I'm pretty sure that Doki Doki game is meant for toddlers...
 
Got the freebie games today :) Thanks for the reminder Malice. I see they have their "Big in Japan" sale on again. Nice time to get some decent JRPG's at a discounted price. Getting myself Tales of Xillia.
 
Went to get my freebies last night. I hit checkout, then noticed Lego Batman 2 wasn't discounted! Thank goodness there was a transaction failure! I would have been out R283!!! Looking today, they've taken it off the instant game collection page. Wonder why they took it off. I feel gipped out of a Vita game >:|

This happened to me with dragons crown last month as well. A few days later when I checked back, it was free and good to go.
 
Checked this afternoon, still no Lego Batman. Checked tonight, and there it is! Don't forget to purchase it if you have PS+ :)
 
so the August Instant Game Collection list is out!

PS4 gets Fez and The Road Not Taken

PS3 gets Crysis 3 and Proteus

And the PS Vita will be getting Dragon's Crown and Metrico
