Thread Killer Mk X

The greatest thing about this question is the matter of how this would play out. We know very well that Batman knows this fact, so being the mastermind that he is, he'll probably take this fight in a smarter, less than straightforward manner. The big thing for me is that these guys know each other very well, which is why I don't think the answer is an easy one.

Yea If you think about it that way, I'm saying if they had a full out fight and they both genuinely wanted to kill each other ?

Dee don't you wanna do my sustainability and greed class for me?

I am struggling to make heads or tails from the crap they want us to do: AKA I dont wanna do it!

Answer me this: In a universe that has Superman, why does any of the other superheroes even bother? "Crazy clown holding the city hostage? I'm not risking my ass for that. Let the invincible illegal alien with the cape sort it out."

Yea it's a big loop hole in the whole story if the universes are combined.

If you look at it from that perspective, I say Superman has the higher chance of a win. If you look at the Batman: Hush storyline, they have their 1st fight (if I'm not mistaken). This fight is the result of Superman being possessed by Poison Ivy with the intention of killing Batman. Now, it should be noted that Bats took that one, but the circumstances surrounding the encounter are what will make one wonder about the outcome of battle under the parameters you've given.

Key quotes from Batman:

"If Clark wanted to, he could use his superspeed and squish me into the cement."
"I have to keep him contained so he can't fly."
"If I hit him again, I'll shatter every bone in my hand."
"Arctic breath. He's holding back as much as he can..."
"He can't be stopped. But he can be stunned."

In another of DC Earths in the DC Multiverse one could bring up Dark Knight Returns (which is technically canon but not Earth Prime canon).

Comics in the TK? Yup.

I think I should probably jump in here with the whole Superman thing. Never liked the character...so I reckoned let my buy all his greatest stories and if I'm still not convinced, then I won't read another thing featuring him as the headliner again. I read ALL of them (except Birthright, which isn't far-off) and I like the guy now. I reckon I understand him.

But he can't be everywhere at once. He's also died before and lost his shit plenty of times. That's why the others bother. I think it was in Secret Identity that he realised that he needs help and needs to decide which people he helps and which he leaves to their own fate. He needs the others just as much as the planet needs him.

But Bats can smash him. He can smash all of them. There's a book called Tower of Babel where it basically shows that Bats has a contingency plan to kill/stop every single Justice League member.

Non-canon, but it is used as a device to level the "he can't be beat" label on Superman.

Could be a scam. If they call again, ask what the weather is like. If they reply with anything other than "fscking cold", you know they are not really in Sweden.
If they get the first question right, ask about their internet speed. "whistling:

Meh, I don't think it will have staying power if it keeps up with its current Free-to-play model (the one used by LoL)

That's the one Justice League: Doom is based on right? I loved the movie, have yet to read the actual book. It's one of the reasons I don't say he's invincible or can't be beat, just that he can take Bats, just as Bats can take him. I think that also poses a problem with the question Supes vs. Bats feels too broad. There are conditions that favor Bats and inversely there are those that favor Supes. This battle would probably be down to the circumstances and parameters of the match-up more so than the actual superheroes.

Also, for the love of all things good, read Birthright :p
