PS4 - Game Questions

wahahaha.... indeed it helps.
Was playing TLoU last night and at a critical junction my screen went blank and noted for me to plug in my controller. My mate had borrowed my second one, which I normally keep charged and change between the two.

... needless to say, I had to sit on the floor and game while it charged =P

AH HA! I see you folded and bought it! We should try the MP sometime.

It's is so good, just got to get past the initial slow start and it becomes a rollercoaster ride of blood, action, suspense and intrigue. While you can tell it's a PS3 title, that has not stopped me from enjoying it I had to physically stop playing last night otherwise I would have pulled all nighter.

luckily we have an L-shaped couch so I sit right in front of the TV, which is great cause it makes for an even better gaming experience and the cable reaches just fine. But I'm trying to get the wife to join in on the PS4 fun...

I've gone past the point in the game that I reached on PS3, so it's all new to me and going in completely blind. But I know exactly how you feel Glordit. Sunday night, it was 1am when I realised, and last night I felt my eyes were a bit scratchy as I looked to the time... 12h30...

... man, I sit here at work analyzing the game in my head and going over the little details in the world. Talking to another mate here at work about it and discussing it. Though he has finished it, he's not spoiling it for me.

Its between Infamous Second Son and TLOU for my next PS4 game, not sure which one I should go for

Wow! Purely based on visuals, that's a tough choice.

Have you played TLoU at all ?
If not and you enjoy an excellent SP story enriched, detailed world and atmosphere, then TLoU should be your choice.

SS was kinda the PS4 flagship, imo.
If you enjoy an open world, random violence, pickup-and-play game, then this would be the better option. Granted it's almost double the price of TLoU.

Both are great games in their own rights. But I am willing to lend out my PS3 with TLoU to people who haven't played it, as I feel it is a game that any gamer in their own right should play. It's definately a piece of art, and worth all the accolades they stand for. Sheer brilliance.

We should see if we can get enough MyGaming guys/gals together for some MP fun.

jsnx99 if you don't have me yet.

Haven't played TLOU at all yet, wanted to get it but then thought i would wait for the remastered version on PS4, I really love the Infamous series and second son looks awesome, tough choice!

I actually got both those games recently. Second Son I started on Thursday, doing the good karma playthrough, and Sunday evening I was already on about 60% completion. So it's a bit shorter than LOU but if you do good and evil playthroughs it is worthwhile. The graphics is also stunning. I might need some extra motivation though to do a second playthrough.

TLOU I got Monday afternoon. Played a bit of multiplayer (which was more fun than I expected), and then started my first playthrough on Survivor. I could see an improvement straight away in the visuals, and with a nice headset you easily get lost in this world. Story wise, this is one of the best out there and even though it plays out the same everytime, it's a game I will find myself playing again in the future.

Definitely count me in for a TLOU MP session. The MP is really good, almost as good as Uncharted 2 MP was.

Cool got you already, so when next I'm in MP and see you playing, I'll send an invite (or you can as well) :)

I'll probably get into the MP once finished SP. I don't want this game to take a back seat or become a backlog game for a second time.

Thinking of taking advantage of Pick n Pay's R5999 special. How many games are there right now that REALLY make it worth getting this console? I will eventually, but I'm waiting for GTAV mostly. :P

If you're into sport you can add NBA2K14 and MLB14 The Show as well.

Most of the other good games I've played on PS4 (Wolfenstein, AC IV, etc.) are available on other platforms as well.

I would love to play the Show but the old gaming funds took a real beating recently and need a recharge before I can think of getting it.
