Epic gaming headphones

Some of them look really comfy! But not paying over R1k for any headphones! The R500 - R800 sets are good enough
 
I have the Logitech G430. Fantastic audio quality, extremely comfortable and light - highly recommend checking those out if you don't want to drop over 2k on a pair of headphones.
 
My Sennheiser HD 202 is very comfortable, with decent sound quality; not overly loud, but able to block out outside sounds.

Albeit, not gaming headphones, they'll suit anyone's pocket - for much less.

I have the Turtle Beach Z22 and really impressed so far. They have an awesome in line amp, and you can connect it to your ipod / phone through that. The microphone is also really good.

They are quite good, I would put them up there with some of the more expensive Sennheisers, AKG and Klipsch sets. How ever you can't beat a pre-amp and a good stereo set.

I have a set of Tritton AX180's (stereo wired), and I really like them even without surround sound and having to deal with the cable. Comfy and good sound, and I think they were about R900.

I have also recently acquired a set of Turtle Beach XP500's, which are way more expensive (although I got this set free from a really good friend/brother-in-law), and they are wireless and surround sound. Really awesome headset, only issues I have had is that they get a bit uncomfortable after long sessions, and when I'm using the bluetooth xbox puck for chat, apparently if you don't talk continuously, it cuts off the first syllable of your sentence.

Also enjoying but wanted to gauge my opinion, bought a set so late night gaming doesnt wake baby but now find myself playing till too late. wife also started using them to watch her series.

But the vibration is the best feature. It would not be the same without it.
 
I have the CoolerMaster Storm Sirus 5.1's. Very nice sound, 4 speakers per cup. This does make them kind of heavy though, but you get used to that. They isolate outside sounds very well and also leak almost no sound at all.

The mic voice quality is also very good. Would recommend them to anyone looking for good gaming headphones. Think I paid R1200 for mine.
