Sierra is back boys and girls

I won't get my hopes up until I see something more than a logo. But damn Caesar V would be great. :D Probably not though.

this reminds me of when atari came back, its just a name that evokes what was orsome back in the day !

If they can make a F.E.4.R, I'd be happy.

Not sure it'll work; F.3.A.R seemed conclusive.

-edit-

Or are there 2 endings?

I'm pretty sure the F.E.A.R IP is owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment now.

It definitely would. It depends on whether Sierra owns the rights to the Impressions city-builder games, though. Impressions Games went defunct in 2004, so the IP might have died with them.

Yeah def wouldn't mind another S.W.A.T we played the code out of that thing back when i was at varsity and would love to se either a reboot or a complete new type of game with a bit of a future twist added to it :D

Looking at my crystal balls I can now reveal that it will be "Quest for Glory 6", a full blown RPG adventure.

Gabriel Knight needs a comeback....

Larry, King's Quest and Quest for Glory already got messed up (their respective last versions)

AFAIK there is an HD remake of Sins of the Fathers in the works... I'm eagerly awaiting it - DJ has to bring his sekey madoule again. :D

Sierra still sounds like a stripper name.

"Next up! ... Thee beautiful, curvaceous and incredibly flexible... Seeeeeee-eeeeeerrrrrrraaaaaah!"

:D

I guess here's out answer to what comes out of this new Sierra:

As expected, Activision have resurrected Sierra in the sense that they’ve dusted off the revered name to use it for a new part of their business. The new Sierra will be Activision’s indie publishing label, kicking things off with Geometry Wars 3 and a new King’s Quest game.

These two make a fairly solid start. Activision also hint that more old Sierra series might return.
