PS4 - Game Questions

Incredible if it has dedicated servers. If not then I will have to skip it. GHOSTS was a major let down without the DS to support it.
 
Watching the Gamescom Sony Press Conference last night, looking at a few upcoming games, there are quite a few that have exclusive content for PS owners despite being released on multiple platforms.
 
I'll probably end up playing a bit of DriveClub. Personally, I'm looking forward to Project Cars a bit more, but my brother will most likely get DriveClub close to release (if not on release).

Bloodborne on the other hand is a whole different story. Man, that game looks amazing. I need to seriously commit to finish Dark Souls (both). I finished Demon's Souls a few times, but haven't managed to finish either one of the Dark Souls games (legitimately). Got very close to the end of Dark Souls II on PS3 (Dragon Aerie) though. I did finish it on PC, but I used a trainer so it doesn't really count. I know a trainer defeats the purpose of the game, but what can I say, I just wanted to see the ending.
 
Wow a load of really cool new games where announced last night,good to see new I.P shown.Bloodborne looks amazing, From software are really upping there game in the visuals department.The order is also looking great my lord it is a good time to be a gamer.
 

Some extended gameplay for you CoD fanboys, I just enjoy Inside Gaming and watch their podcasts. I couldn't really care much for CoD.
 
Man, I am really enjoying MLB14-RTTS.

Very very difficult, my fielding and throws are great, but my batting is a bit on the poor side, along with stealing.

Yeah man, pitching and fielding are easy, but batting is a bitch. My brother got good at batting throughout the rookie season, but once he made it to the Majors he started struggling again. I haven't played that much myself, mainly because I suck at batting. :p
 
Did you guys check out The Children of Tomorrow and Dragon Age Inquisition?

Holy sheet they both look SICK!

The Children of Tomorrow looks like a Communist Minecraft (:p). I hope all the children we saw in the trailer were players, if they are then it will add a whole new dimension of working together (Something Minecraft never quite got) and I love the art style.

Dragon Age Inquisition is just look plain jizzstastic. It looks absolutely gorgeous! I just hope the story is as good as Dragon Age Origin :D

waaaahahahaha.... Funny enough I watched the entire Sony Conference last night and saw this game, after the preview I thought the exact same thing :p
 
hmmm.... just an idea, but why don't we, as a MyG community, start up a loan/swap thread or service or something?

Based on the price of games these days, especially next-gen, would it not makes sense to say; hey, I have this, you have that, I want to play that and you looking for this, why don't we trade..... for like a month?

Surely a courier fee on something like that won't be more than R60?

Obviously the group would need to be tight, like the Steam Community Group, but for the people with consolitis ?

I think that's a pretty fantastic idea... Especially for those single player games you play through and then they just sit there... Would also be cool if like I say ok im gona get Uncharted 4, then you (or someone else) say ok I wont get that il get ??? Whatever, then we swop when we both done...

My point exactly. Where no funds get exchanged, just a straight up trade (even if temporary), and the only payment may be for courier.
