Lazygamer. The 'z' is supposed to distinguish them from the okes who make the TVs. I mention them because they are the only people who still do things with sexism in gaming. Not taking a dig at them, just calling a spade a spade.

Morning everyone

Only issue I have had with 8.1 is that they updated their android drivers and now my nexus 7 is not being seen as a media device
 
Well my issue is certain games i'm playing now all of a sudden run crap in full screen mode but in windowed mode they look perfect like Grid Autosport and Wildstar and NFS the run to mention only a few BF4 was the same but got that one sorted but the others all have this issue and wolfenstein works perfect too no issues

Did you have a previous version of windows and upgraded to Win 8.1?
And can you define "crap"? Is it visually crap or does it stutter and drop frames?

Anyway, do the following:
Check your settings for the games. Did it revert to a lower resolution, drop the AA, etc?
Check your GPU drivers. Are they updated to the newest stable version?
Check your game versions. Are they up to date with the newest patches?
 
Visully crap in fullscreen in 1080P but in Windowed it looks awesome, also was a clean install of 8.1 no upgrade

And all are updated For instance grid auto sport in 1920x1080 at 59.9mhz fullscreen crap gfx windowed awesome gfx

If i revert to a lower res same issue between fullscreen and windowed

Strange. Can you do some screen captures? If I see what goes, I may be able think of something.
