Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

I updated Diablo 3 and actually enjoyed it. Just a little background, I hated it when it came out. Was one of the biggest disappointed in my gaming history. But the changes since release seem to have made it enjoyable for me now. Is the expansion worth it, if I'm enjoying the non-expansion version. Are the expansion only features cool?

Either way. Made some good progress so far. Had fun with the Grim Wolves. Even joined the clan.

The expansion is a game changer. The new features in the xpac alone revived the game for me.
Now with 2.1 and seasons I am having a ridiculous amount of fun.
 
I had an insanely good time with this game this weekend! Didn't play nearly enough, but the hours i spent were awesome! The Goblin Vaults ;-) O my sack... So much loot and SO much gold its ridiculous... Was really lucky, got into the vault the first pair of Goblins I came across...

You are lucky. Got a one very late last night after doing lots of goblins. Did get like 30mil Gold :D. Did any one else get the goblin that opens the portal to whispeydale?

Is it just me or is gold pretty pointless in Diablo 3? I mean, I havent worried about gold since I first started playing the game like 2/3 years ago... And it was only a concern to lvl up my artisans... Otherwise Iv always had so much gold its been retarded...

Would also like to hear about the Whispeydale ;-D

From a noob pov, I had exactly the same thought. I've bought very little armour or weapons, and as you said, only for artisans and off course extra space for my stash.

Yeah we had a rainbow goblin.

If you hit the vault and get your boon of the hoarder gem then gold will no longer be a problem.
Before that rerolling and upgrading gems used so much gold that it was a real gold sink. With the current state of gold they will need better gold sinks.

I refused to upgrade my Gems... It was just ridiculous... Then I left the game for a year, returned, and all the gems i had in my stash were instantly redundant as the drops i was getting were like retarded amounts better than the gems i had on everything...

Agreed though, we need something to make the gold you collect worth something... and yes i did forget about upgrading the Stash ;)

Even repairing your items is like a drop in the ocean of gold my characters currently swim in...
 
New patch has made the game a lot more enjoyable.
Also the goblin realm rocks, managed to get it 5 times over the last 2 days...Total made 200M + :)
 
I'll prolly play a bit tonight was the patch only like 380mb? And did all of you start new characters for season mode?

This season was kind of ruined by people exploiting the miners revenge adventure quest, so gave up on that.
Right now focusing on getting my barb back in Top 1000 and my monk T6 capable.

What miners revenge quest pls do share

My doctor is paragon 130 now i think still need to lvl my wizzard and want to mak a demon hunter too

There is a quest you can run a million times over called miners revenge, it gives a ton of xp.
So guys would literally run that quest over and over and hit lvl 70 in 2 hours, so it messed up this season completely.
 
Wont they patch it befire the season ends? Or has it been already? Would love to push my wizzard. What hsppens to you season char and loot once the season is done

Well the problem is its already ruined this season, so whether they patch it out (Which they won't) or not I have no idea.
Hopefully for the next season they lock Adventure mode until you reach level 70.
 
Is there any point in leveling a season toon now or not? From the description you have a shot at unique legendaries, new transmogs, etc. Apart from this, what is the point really of leveling a season toon?

I don't have a lot of time for gaming these days, so I don't want to waste time leveling a season toon when there isn't really any point or reward for doing so.

Well it is a blank slate, you dont really lose out by doing it.
Everything gets rolled into your normal account after the season paragon, stash, the works.

So on the upside you get all the unique things and on the downside.. nothing really.
