Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Well it is a blank slate, you dont really lose out by doing it.
Everything gets rolled into your normal account after the season paragon, stash, the works.

So on the upside you get all the unique things and on the downside.. nothing really.

Cool beans, thanks. Now I just have to get my internet sorted out. Been stuck with 0.22 Mbps downloads the past few days :/
This roughly translates to ... infinity ping.

I feel my current minecraft addiction might be loosing grounds to this... I am so tempted to give this a go, the new patch looks awesome

That's the beauty of Minecraft and Diablo. It's always there for a couple of hours of fun or obsessive gameplay.

Not sure how long a season will run for but I know u guys were a little grim concerning the exploits. Hopefully this is all sorted by season 2:

Greetings, nephalem!

One of our ongoing goals for Diablo III (and Seasons in particular) is to promote diversity in play styles and encourage a variety of experience whenever possible. In line with this goal, and as a direct result of your feedback from Season 1, we're in the process of implementing a series of hotfixes that will temporarily disable the following events as eligible bounties:

•The Matriarch's Bones
•The Jar of Souls
•The Miser's Will
•A Miner's Gold

This change will apply to both Seasonal and non-Seasonal games. Additionally, please note that these hotfixes will only remove the above events from the active bounty pool, not the game itself. The events can still spawn in-game and will provide rewards as normal.

We don't have an ETA at this time for when these events will be re-added to the bounty pool, but are working to have them available for Season 2.

Looking Forward:

In Season 1, many players were able to quickly level their heroes and earn a coveted rank on the "Race to the Top" leaderboard exclusively by running the bounties in question. While we won't be removing any Conquest credit or ranking from players who chose to use this particular technique, we will be making changes to these bounties for future Seasons. The desire here is to help promote an environment where the most efficient way to play is also the most varied (and ideally the most fun too). With this, one of our goals for Seasonal Conquests is to encourage players to try out different tactics and explore different play styles, so we will be evaluating all Season 1 Conquests with that goal in mind and making changes for Season 2 as needed.

Once again, thank you for your feedback. We'll continue to grow and improve Diablo III with your support, so please keep posting! In the meantime, we wish you glory and good fortune in Season 1, and good luck to those still racing for a spot on our current Conquest leaderboards.

See you in Sanctuary!

Saw the post, it's a good move finally.
The bounty change was very good aswell.

They realized the seasonal players will not want to farm a required item for 100's of hours and made a move to help the situation out.
Now I have a multiple rorg on my seasonal monk where my main has never even seen a single one.

Started a seasonal Monk after stepping away from D3 for a couple of months. Finding it very fun to be at this again. The new patch definitely came with a breath of fresh air for the game.

Don't have a cooking clue what you guys are on about when you talk about "seasons" :( in just played D3 to completion on xbox and reached level 43 with my Wizard. But obviously I must be doing something wrong :(

Anyways, i got hold of Ultimate Edition and created new Crusader Class. What's the quicker way to level up?

Almost lvl 70 on my first season character found about 8 plans and 33 legendary's . Wanna start running rifts soon and farm for legendary gems.

It does T5 comfy and GR to about 23.
I have terribly rolled items except for the Shard so most should do better.

Definitely faster specially if you have a already paragon lvld season character running with you and damn the amount of gold you pick up now i maxed my jeweler blacksmith and enchanter ll in one go

Seriously? Wow :wtf: IS it faster leveling in seasons? Coz my lvl 70 monk took me more than 2 hours from lvl 60 - 70...

We power leveled a couple of guys from 1 - 70 in under 3 hours.
High torment rifts and the biggest red gem in helm they can make.

Well I think I am done with my monk...Just want to get better reaper wraps and I'll be happy.

This build with that weapon and skill set = GG for any torment or grift.

Nice monk. What grift level you doing on that?

Flying dragon and pain enhancer with CDR in helm will push that monk over the edge man.
Also crudest boots will be much better than the 2 piece rainment.
Then 2 pc ashearas on bracers and chest. BiS by no small margin.

The fastest if seen with power leveling in seasons was my one friend i think took us less than 2 hours from 1 to 70 and a few paragon level with it. (helped was we where 3 high level chars already when we started 2X 70 and a 68.
